Until yesterday, I had never heard of a "push present" before. Am I the only one?
I'm not going to say a whole lot about my opinion, because I could go on and on and on about how I think this is tacky and I'm not really in the mood for a bunch of hate mail....haha. Let me be clear though....I think it's tacky to demand, expect, ask for, etc a "push present". If your husband wants to get you a present for having the baby without you having suggested it, that's great! But I don't think anyone should ask for a present for any occasion. If someone wants to get you a gift for something, then they will do so.
Anywho, I think Atlanta Bride says it better than I could anyway in this post. If you read the post, make sure you read all of the comments....they're quite amusing (to me anyway, but it doesn't take much to amuse me).
