TGIF!!!!!!!!!

If it was any other day BUT Friday, I don't think I would make it. It has been a long day and a long week!! I will be drinking several a few cocktails tonight!

Are any of you doing anything fun and exciting this weekend?

The boyfriend and I are going on a date tonight, but other than that, my plan is to be as lazy as I possible can this weekend. Of course, AFTER, I do the laundry and clean the house!

Didn't mean to call you out like that, but your email is private and I didn't want you to think no one loves you and I noticed you didn't have any other comments so I figured other readers may be having the same problem.

what shows do you watch?

Some of you have been talking about some of the shows that premiered last night, so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon.......

1. The Bachelor - I didn't watch it. I watched it the first couple/few seasons it came out, but the last season that I watched was when Bob Guiney was The Bachelor......I just loved him! After him I just didn't get into it that much anymore.

2. The Biggest Loser: Couples - This is the first time I've watched this show and I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

3. Nip/Tuck - I haven't heard any of you talking about this one yet. Am I the only one that watches this? I actually don't usually watch this until it comes out on DVD, because it comes on at 10:00pm and if I try to watch it I usually end up falling asleep before it's over with and miss the ending. I also didn't start watching it until about a year or so ago when I friend of mine just raved about it, so I went and rented seasons 1 and 2 and was hooked! Well, the video store didn't have any seasons on DVD beyond season 2, so I bought seasons 3 and 4. I have been dying waiting patiently for season 5 to come out on DVD and it finally did!!! It came out the end of December, I ordered it, and got it in the mail today. I am a happy, happy girl! Season 6 premiered last night, and even though I haven't seen Season 5 yet, I went ahead and watched it. I'm glad I did; it was really good. I just love Julian McMahon who plays Dr. Christian Troy. Tell me this man isn't every bit of sexy! And they come up with the craziest plot lines....you never know what they'll do next! If you've never watched this show, you should definitely check it out!

Back in my early twenties, 23 to be exact, I decided to get a belly button ring. Why? Because all my friends got one, I thought it was sexy and cool, etc. I took it out a long time ago....that was just my personal preference to do so. If you are 50 and still have one, I don't care, I'm not judging you.

Now, with all that being said, I can assure you that had I ever been impregnated while I still had said belly button ring, it would have been removed immediately. And if for some reason, after I had that child, and I decided I just had to have one again, then I would go and have it re-pierced. I'm telling you all this, because I just recently found out that the boyfriend's sister kept her belly button ring in throughout her entire pregnancy. Again, if this is something you have done, I'm not judging you.

Before I wrote this post, I went looking for pictures of pregnant women with belly button rings. I decided not to share because, well, it just wasn't very attractive to say the least. There was one of a woman that was only 11 weeks pregnant and it looked quite painful.

Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe I am being a little judgmental, but my final thought is this......if you're not ready to give up your belly button ring, then you're probably not ready to have a child.

What are your thoughts?

I'm not saying that he should or shouldn't have been made to cover his T-shirt. But $240,000? You've got to be kidding? How about a free ticket in first class to anywhere he wants to go. That would be a little more reasonable.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

I'm about to start getting ready for my New Year's festivities. We're going to dinner at the yummiest restaurant ever with some friends and then going to a party. I hope you all have a wonderful New Year's Eve.....see you next year!

I had a wonderful Christmas and I hope all of you did too! I've got a lot of stuff to get done around the house after being gone for almost a week and LOTS of blog reading to catch up on, so I'll be back later today or tomorrow with more details.
